Siccapos® Gel

Substitution of tears in case of a lack in tear production and dry eye syndrome.

1 g of gel contains: The active substance is polyacrylic acid (Carbomer 980) 2.0mg/g.
The other ingredients are sorbitol 40.0 mg, cetrimid (preservative) 0.1mg, water for injections 957.03mg, sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharamcist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The treatment of dry eye demands individual dosage. If not otherwise prescribed by your doctor and depending on the severity and intensity of the symptoms, 3 to 5 times daily and more often as well as before night, 1 drop should be instilled into the conjunctival sac. Distribute the application of Siccapos® Gel evenly over the day.
The right period of treatment depends on the clinical picture and should be determined by the doctor. For the treatment of keratoconjunctivitis sicca, which normally is a long-term treatment, an ophthalmologist should be consulted.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the tube and the carton after ‘EXP’. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not store above 25°C.
Reference to stability after first use:
You can use Siccapos® Gel only 4 weeks after first use.
