How to apply Timo-COMOD® 0.5%?
How often and for how long can you use Timo-COMOD® 0.5%?
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
If not otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
At the beginning of the therapy apply 1 drop twice daily into the affected eye.
If the intraocular pressure is syntonised on the desired value under regular control, the physician may set the dose to 1 drop per day.
If you take β-receptor blocking agents orally, a decrease of intraocular pressure has to be expected. For that reason it must be evaluated if a local treatment on the eye is necessary at all. If there is already a systemic administration of β-receptor block- ing agents, the effect of topically applied substances is often less intensive. The decrease of intraocular pressure in patients with highly pigmented iris can be reduced or delayed.
