What is Nasal Congestion？
Nasal congestion, also known as stuffy nose, occurs when the nasal cavity, nearby tissues, and blood vessels become filled with excessive fluid, causing swelling and a feeling of blockage in the nose, similar to a clogged pipe.
It may be accompanied by nasal mucus or a runny nose, but it is not always present. For older children and adults, nasal congestion is usually just a minor annoyance. However, it can be a serious problem for infants whose sleep is affected by congestion or for infants who have difficulty feeding due to nasal congestion.
