For daily eyelid cleansing and care

Eyelid margin hygiene should be part of your daily routine like brushing your teeth. Careful, regular care of your eyelid margins helps to obtain your meibomian glands’ function and thus prevent inflammation of your eyelids.

POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are a practical solution for gently cleansing and caring for your sensitive eyelid margins.

The wipes gently remove deposits such as dust, pollen or crusting from your eyelids and between your eyelashes, making them suitable for supportive care in case of eyelid inflammations (blepharitis).

The POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are pre-moistened, sterile and individually packed, making them convenient for cleansing your eyelids, whether at home, out and about or when traveling.

Do not use POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes when wearing contact lenses because, even with your eyes closed, fluid from the soaked eyelid hygiene wipes could come into contact with your contact lenses.

How to use POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes

POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are easy to use :

Remove any eye make-up before using the wipes.
Wash your hands thoroughly.
Remove the POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipe from the individual sachet.
Gently clean the eyelid with the eye closed by stroking the eyelid hygiene wipe on the eyelid from the outside to the inside.
Do not flush the eyelid hygiene wipe down the toilet after use but put it into your household waste.
Take a fresh eyelid cleansing wipe for the other eyelid and repeat the process.

Follow a regular eyelid margin hygiene routine every morning and evening to optimally cleanse and care for your eyelids :

What are POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and what are they used for?

POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are sterile, disposable, moistened wipes, particularly suitable for the daily cleaning and care of sensitive eyelids. POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Cleansing Wipes soaked in sodium hyaluronate, horsetail and euphrasia help to gently cleanse and care for the sensitive skin of the eyelids. At the same time they allow you to delicately eliminate any deposits (e.g. scabs, dust, pollen) formed on the eyelids and/or between the eyelashes. POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are therefore indicated for providing relief to inflammation of the eyelid margins.

What do you need to consider before using POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes?

POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes are only suitable for external use and should only be applied to closed eyes. They should not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients (see "Ingredients" on the packaging and insert). Do not use POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes while wearing contact lenses. Even when applied to closed eyes, the liquid from the soaked POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes may come into contact with the contact lenses. Since there is insufficient data regarding compatibility with contact lens materials, simultaneous use is not recommended.

Precautions for use

1. If you have eye make-up, please remove your makeup before using POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes.
2. It is advisable to perform regular eyelid hygiene in the morning and evening.
3. POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Cleansing Wipes can also be used multiple times a day.
4. In case of severe eye problems, e.g. crusting, redness or burning of the eyelids, consult an ophthalmologist.
5. Suitable for long-term use.
6. Do not use if the individual packaging is damaged.
7. Keep out of reach of children.
8. For skin use only.
9. Do not apply directly to the eyeballs.

Useful tips for eyelid margin hygiene

1. No preservatives.
2. No fragrance.
3. In addition to using POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes, the additional application of POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray and POSIFORLID® Eyelid Heating Pads can be beneficial.
