POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray

For daily eyelid hygiene and supportive care for eyelid inflammation and irritated eyelids

If deposits form on the eyelids and/or between the eyelashes due to an inflammation of the eyelid edge, POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray helps to remove them softly and gently, while caring for and soothing irritated eyelids.

POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray meets all the requirements for effective eyelid hygiene. This comprises two components: Heat treatment and eyelid massage or cleaning. In addition to heat treatment with the POSIFORLID® Eyelid Heating Pad, the POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray is particularly suitable for successful and gentle eyelid cleaning and care.

This is achieved by liquefying the accumulated secretion from the glands on the edge of the eyelid (meibomian glands) using the heat of the POSIFORLID® Eyelid Heating Pad.

The liquid secretion can then be massaged out with a cotton pad and the eye area can be cleaned. With the subsequent application of the POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray, irritated eyelids are soothed and the eyelid edges can be cleaned and cared for. Irritation of the eyelids, such as redness, skin irritation or the like, which can be caused by an inflammation of the eyelid edge, is alleviated in this way.

What is POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Hygiene Spray, and what is it used for?

POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray indicated for the treatment of irritated eyelids, for the daily hygiene of the eyelid margins and as a supportive treatment for inflammation of the eyelid margins. In the presence of deposits on the eyelid margins and/or between the eyelashes, POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray promotes their gentle and delicate removal.

What should you consider before using POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray?

POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Hygiene Spray should not be applied if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients (see "Ingredients" on the packaging and insert). Do not use for children under 3 years of age. There should be a minimum application interval of 15 minutes. Do not use POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray while wearing contact lenses. Even when applied to closed eyes, the liquid from the soaked POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray may come into contact with the contact lenses. Since there is insufficient data regarding compatibility with contact lens materials, simultaneous use is not recommended.

Precautions for use

1. If you have eye make-up, it is recommended to apply this spray before applying make-up and/or after removing make-up from the eyes.
2. It is possible to use the spray even with eye skin care product applied. In this case, POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray is recommended to perform a single spray per eye
from a greater distance (approximately 20 cm).
3. Generally, it is recommended to perform regular eyelid hygiene in the morning and in the evening.
4. POSIFORLIDR Eyelid Hygiene Spray can be applied up to 4 times a day.
5. In case of severe eye problems, e.g. crusting, redness or burning of the eyelids, consult an ophthalmologist.
6. Suitable for long-term use.
7. Do not use the spray if the bottle is damaged.
8. Keep out of reach of children.
9. For skin use only.
10. Do not apply directly to the eyeballs.
11. Do not ingest the liquid.

Useful tips for lid margin inflammation

1. No preservatives.
2. No fragrance.
3. In addition to using POSIFORLID® Eyelid Hygiene Spray, the additional application of POSIFORLID® Eyelid Cleansing Wipes and POSIFORLID® Eyelid Heating Pads can
be beneficial.
